I loved what you shared from Mark Earley. So wise - and so positively proactive.

I hope more Christians will put the political turmoil of late behind them - no matter their vote - and support our incoming President and those he chooses to lead with him, by their prayers and actions. God never asks us to put all our faith in any man - only in Him - but He does ask us to support other people, the cares and causes of mankind (just as Jesus so eloquently demonstrated through the Red Letters of his life and all his actions toward those who were suffering, as well as those who were rich), and, in kind, our political leaders. Our God is a great God, and He is much bigger than any one man, any political agenda, any debate. When Christians unite in prayer and in service toward others, the world can be changed. Likewise, when we use our mouths as often as we can for praise of God, rather than slander of politicians or any other man, we silence Satan (reference the Terry Law CD we sent you, "How to Silence Satan."). Satan hates our praise of God, because it magnifies and exalts our Heavenly Father. What would our world be like if we Christians were in a constant state of praise? It's a thing Jason and I strive to remember and practice each day. Christian radio and CDs help us with this, but mostly we are aided by being in the Word. Of course, we have to work and talk with others and build relationships, but when doubt or criticism or mean-spirited words come to mind, we try to think on God, and either sing or speak praises to Him. It not only magnifies Him, it uplifts our spirits and shifts our focus to where (and on whom) it needs to be.

That's my prayer for all Christians, myself included at the start of the list.

I love your writing, and I love your heart even more! :-)

Love,

KaylaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
